Chief Executives Office
Netta Maciver OBE
Netta was appointed Chief Executive of Turning Point Scotland when the company was established in Scotland in 1998.
Netta worked with RSSPCC, Glasgow Corporation and Strathclyde Region during the 1970s. From 1980-1985, Netta was the Assistant Director of Social Work in the Western Isles.
Moving back to Glasgow, Netta took up post as Principal Officer in Addictions/HIV in Strathclyde Region from 1985-1990.
Moving to Madrid in 1990-1993, Netta was an Open University Tutor - as well as having two children!
On return to Scotland, Netta worked as a child care senior in Strathclyde Region.
Netta worked with Turning Point Scotland as a Development Director from 1995 before taking up the post as Chief Executive at the point when the organisation took the decision to establish a separate company and charity in Scotland.

Corporate Services Manager
There is a support role in place for the Board and Chief Executive. This post carries out the following tasks:
Board
- To co-ordinate Board meetings, prepare and distribute all papers for the Board of Turning Point Scotland and Audit Committee, produce accurate minutes and follow up actions thereafter
- To co-ordinate Board meetings, prepare papers for meetings of Turning Point Scotland Services, produce accurate minutes and follow up actions thereafter
- To assist, in a similar way, with any other sub committees that the Board establishes
- Co-ordination and administration of all Board recruitment, induction training and ongoing support
- To liaise between Board members and services to arrange Board visits and attendance at service events
- To develop and review governance systems and policies with Chief Executive and Chair of the Board
Chief Executive
- To act as Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive: administration support, arranging meetings, diary management, co-ordinating supervisions and actions
- Project Management on various projects and working groups as delegated by the Chief Executive
- To carry out research and present findings into subjects that the Chief Executive is dealing with
- To arrange Service Managers' Conference, report on conference and follow up actions
- To co-ordinate Senior Management meetings and actions
- To co-ordinate organisational information flow to and from services on behalf of the Senior Management Team
- To collate and issue TPS responses to sector and Executive papers
- To work in co-operation with all TPS support services based at Scotland Office
- To work within agreed timescales and deadlines
Administration
- To manage overall strategic direction of Scotland Office Administration team
- To oversee Business Efficiencies strategy and development of central purchasing systems
- To oversee Organisational Development Process
- Chair and co-ordinate organisational Admin Forum and subsequent working groups with a view to improving and developing organisational administration processes
- To develop and manage the admin support for the Senior Management Team
