Employee Representative Council
In June 2005, the first meeting of EAR4U took place. This was the name given to the Employee Representative Council. EAR4U was set up by Turning Point Scotland as part of its Communications Strategy to facilitate consultation directly with employees on policy and other important issues that would impact on both the organisation and its employees.
EAR4U meets four times per annum when an interchange of dialogue between staff and the management team takes place.
It is an excellent opportunity for employees' voices to be heard. After each EAR4U meeting, a briefing paper is prepared and communicated to all Turning Point Scotland staff.
