The 218 service is a criminal justice service for women who are involved within the criminal justice system. The service provides a residential service for a maximum of twelve women and a day service for a maximum of fifty women.

Within the service we offer a range of structured group work which provides the women with the opportunity to look at issues relating to their offending behaviour such as alcohol and drug addiction, issues of loss and trauma, family and relationship difficulties. We also provide one to one sessions with a key worker, confidence building group work and alternative therapies.

We work closely with the Glasgow judiciary, criminal justice social work teams, Cornton vale prison and other referring agencies.

You will work 12 hour shifts over 3 or 4 days on a rota basis.
