Turning Point Scotland is a national social care charity providing services to people with addictions, learning disabilities, mental health issues, those in the criminal justice system and those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Turning Point Scotland Dundee The Dundee service currently supports adults with learning disabilities but can provide services to any adult with a support need. We provide supported living services, housing support and day opportunities to promote independence and choice to individuals in order for them to access everyday life experiences which include access to education, employment and social activities as well as providing support with developing relationships and maintaining a home. We work in partnership with service users, their families, health teams, Care Managers and advocates. To be the successful candidate you will be able to meet the essential criteria listed in the Person Specification. In general terms you will recognise that people’s needs differ, so you’ll be comfortable tailoring your approach to a broad range of individuals, and you will know that a consistently excellent standard of care is key to providing the best support possible. Primarily you’ll see our service users as ordinary people and be motivated by the desire to help them fulfil their full potential.
