Turning Point Scotland operates in communities across Scotland, from the larger cities and towns, to more remote or rural locations. As an organisation we recognise the unique challenges of working in areas that are further away from the larger urban population centres, where accessing services, transport and adverse weather can impact on the quality of life of people we support.
Turning Point Scotland Elgin, provides support to adults with a range of complex needs to meet the demand in the local area.
The service supports adults with learning disabilities, autism, acquired brain injury and with fluctuating mental or physical health issues. It has provided supported accommodation since 1999 offering round the clock support if required.
The residents live in self contained flats but also benefit from communal living spaces allowing them to mix with their peers should they choose to, providing the flexibility and benefits of both independent and community living. The service has excellent links with other providers and groups in the wider community allowing opportunities to participate in social and sporting activities. Because there is a diverse range of ages and support needs, individual packages are tailored to suit the individual.
Turning Point Scotland makes services fit people. The type of support we provide depends on the needs of the individual. No matter where you live or what your circumstances, Turning Point Scotland aims to provide a high level of support to suit your needs.
