Changing lives in 2016

January can be bleak but it is also a time for optimism, setting goals and improving health and well-being.

This week we have been trying to highlight a selection of stories and comments that sum up this type of attitude.

It could be taking the first step to a new career, volunteering to help others or making a change to better yourself.

Here are Malcolm’s thoughts:

“Since using one of Turning Point Scotland’s services I’ve now managed to stay sober for 31 months through 2014 and 2015.

It will be my second year in my own flat this year and it was also my second Christmas that I’ve been able to see my son since he was very young.

I don’t think that I would have been able to do this or be where I am now in my life without the help of Turning Point Scotland.”
