Many generous people give up their time to help raise extra money for people supported by Turning Point Scotland to get additional benefits.

Achieving dreams and aspirations is a great feeling, no matter if they are big or small.

Scott Renton is running the London Marathon for Turning Point Scotland and has now just a few weeks training to go before the big day.

As part of the build up he recently completed the Alloa half-marathon and achieved a new personal best of 1 hour 49 min and 45 seconds.

Scott said:

“It was a tough course, especially with the strong winds and hills! I’m sure Malcolm will back me up on that!

Thanks to the many people who have already donated to the charity I’m running for next month.

I’m getting close to my target, although would like to smash the amount I’m aiming to raise for the great work done by Turning Point Scotland across our nation.”
