Turning Point Scotland Glasgow Drug Crisis Centre is marking Naloxone overdose awareness week with a series of events.

  • Monday 24th August 11am – FASS to open the memory tree – take a feather and write a message to a loved one.
  • Tuesday 25th August 11am & 2pm – Naloxone group training available
  • Wednesday 26th August 2pm – DVD screening of the FASS plays ‘Chap at the door’ and ‘Aftermath’ – both hard hitting plays about the effects an overdose has on a family
  • Thursday 27th August 2pm – Invited speakers to tell an honest account of the experience of surviving an overdose
  • Friday 28th August 2pm – Choir to perform at a small closing ceremony facilitated by FASS and clients and place the feathers in a memory box.

Naloxone training will also be available all week for individuals
