Today marks the start of Turning Point Scotland’s Gateway to Effective Strategic Leadership Programme with the first cohort attending the first session today.

Ten managers are participating in a Gateway Development Centre experience facilitated by the excellent Kinharvie Institute of Facilitation and it is anticipated that they will enjoy and benefit from the session and be able to make good use of their individual feedback session tomorrow.

Martin Cawley, Chief Executive and Fiona Paton, Head of HR & Training will be there first thing to welcome participants and to officially open the session and set the Programme running.

Martin said:

“Managers hold a key role within Turning Point Scotland and one which is demanding and challenging in a variety of ways and it should also be a rewarding one. This programme has been designed to recognise the level participants are working at and to help resource and assist them as they make decisions which are crucial to the success of the services they manage and indeed to the organisation’s ability to meet the objectives outlined in the Strategic Plan 2012-2015.

Fiona and I are delighted at the enthusiasm with which the Programme has been received and are obliged to those who volunteered to attend as part of the first cohort”.

Have a great 2 days everyone!
