SUSTAIN is a programme of short therapeutic and educational evening courses aimed at individuals post-treatment who are comfortable without using drugs or alcohol to sustain their long term recovery in the community.

SUSTAIN courses explore areas of life that are known to be challenging for people building their longer term recovery in a community setting. Courses are offered to those with a minimum of 1 year in recovery with particular relevance for individuals in years 2-5 of the recovery process. The course materials are unsuitable for people in the early stages of recovery. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the funding, we can not offer the courses as workforce development at this time (unless the worker is in recovery themselves).

SUSTAIN courses are offered fully funded as part of the Glasgow Abstinence Partnership’s (GAP) contribution to increasing abstinence in the city. Places are funded for those in the second year of recovery and beyond.
