A Glasgow Abstinence Partnership Service

Recovery for Men is run by Turning Point Scotland’s South East Alternatives at the Glasgow Drugs Crisis Centre.

It is a two phased abstinence programme that helps keep you focused on your recovery.

PHASE 1 is 5 weeks of 121’s and groups to help you remain abstinent from alcohol, drugs and substitute medication including methadone/suboxone.

PHASE 2 is 16 weeks of groups and 121’s to help you maintain your abstinence and understand your addiction through group work that includes: 12 Steps, SMART Thinking, Steps to Success, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, and Positive Outlooks.

Your Commitment

You will need to be at least 4 days abstinent at the referral stage and be willing to detox from your methadone/suboxone completely by the end of Phase 1.
