A group of athletes from Turning Point Scotland’s services are aiming to achieve their personal best for 10km and raise money this weekend.

Over 10 000 runners will be pounding the streets of Glasgow on Sunday 5th October as part of the Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run.

Around a dozen service users and a staff member are taking part with some raising money for TPS Connects, the membership scheme providing a wide range of additional benefits for people that use Turning Point Scotland’s services.

Some of those running are doing it as part of a more active and healthy lifestyle, while others enjoy being among friends and colleagues.

The route takes in the city centre and through the South side, before reaching the finish line at Glasgow Green.
