Staff at Turning Point Scotland Rosie’s Social Enterprises in Aberdeen have welcomed a very special guest to help mark the hard work and effort of a long standing team member.

Lord Provost of Aberdeen, Councillor George Adam gave Josie  a gold volunteering award for 13 years service.

The Lord Provost said:

“It was great to see Turning Point Scotland, what a brilliant team, I enjoyed the visit and it was my pleasure to attend.”

Mike Melvin, Aberdeen Council of Voluntary Organisations, said:

“A note of big thanks once again to yourselves and all at  Rosie’s Enterprises-Turning Point Scotland for organising a wonderful occasion to present the Volunteering in Aberdeen Gold Award to Josie. She is a lovely person.

Fantastic staff and volunteer team at Rosies Enterprises and it was a real pleasure meeting everyone. It was a really joyous occasion.

I also got loads of ideas for gifts/presents so will definitely be back again as a customer!

Thank you again for all the brilliant work, help and support that you provide-it is greatly appreciated.”
