Rosie’s Social Enterprises – founded in 2000 by Turning Point Scotland is now showcasing its products, services and the impact it has on the individuals undertaking placements across the businesses on Facebook.

Rosie’s Social Enterprises provides vocational training, support and work experience for people recovering from mental health issues.  Rosie’s operates as professional businesses and trading activities provide income which supplements the funding that is provided through commissioners, including Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeenshire Council and The Big Lottery.

People supported at Rosie’s are offered a placement for up to two years and during that time they will grow in confidence and develop both existing and new skills whilst receiving one to one person-centred support.  Placements are tailored to the fit the person, work with the strengths of the individual and work within Turning Point Scotland’s values to deliver a first class service.  Placements are available for up to fifty five people in any one week within our enterprises – Rosie’s Cafe, Rosie’s Framers & Crafts (including a gift shop), and our latest enterprise, Rosie’s Wedding Stationery.
