Chrysalis

Chrysalis, based in Edinburgh city centre offers group work, support and key work for drug misusers on a maintenance prescription.

Chrysalis is funded through a joint partnership between capital partnership and the City of Edinburgh Social Work and Criminal Justice services to offer structured day programmes with one to one key work support for:

• Individuals males and female, over 16 years of age who reside in Edinburgh
• Individuals currently involved in the criminal justice system.

Chrysalis has the capacity for twelve service users and offers a twelve week programme that aims to:

• Reduce drug related harm
• Increase opportunities in education, training and employment
• Introduce and maintain stability into formerly chaotic lifestyles
• Reduce drug related and other offences amongst participants
• Introduce ‘softer' inputs such as leisure access, creative writing and computer technology.
