Direct Access
This will allow people to engage with support staff through self referral by walking into our modern access point in North Guildry Street in Elgin. For people who are unable to travel to Elgin we will make a commitment to offer access services across Moray. Staff at Studio 8 will then refer on to a specialist agency or offer a programme of support through a person centred plan.

Drop-in:
At Studio 8 we appreciate that not everyone wants to have a ‘caseworker' or ‘keyworker' but still want to access some form of support and guidance. We also want to be able to offer a service to everyone. Therefore a drop-in facility will be available five days a week at the following times:
Mon 1300 - 1400, Tue 1400 - 1600, Wed 1200 - 1330, Thur 1700 - 1900 and Fri 1300 - 1500 hours

Needle Exchange:

This offers an additional service to the existing pharmacy based needle exchange services where by service users will be provided with expert advice on issues related to needle exchange and injecting drug use.  Studio 8 needle exchange service offers information, support and guidance on all aspects of injection drug use in an inviting, relaxed and confidential environment.  Opering times: Mon 1500 - 1700, Tue 1700 - 1900, Wed 1300 - 1700, Thur 1500 - 1700, Fri 1500 - 1700

Arrest Referral:
This will offer those affected by substance misuse access to a service at a point of crisis in their lives. An agreement will be entered into with Grampian Police to allow people to access advice, guidance and support at the point of being within the criminal justice system.

Group work:
Studio 8 will offer groups in a number of areas and this will include alternative therapies, art and crafts, peer support, family support, harm reduction, anger management and safe working practices. Studio 8 will adapt to need and offer what is required by those wishing to access the service.
