Vacancy Description
Turning Point Scotland is a registered charity providing drug and alcohol addiction, criminal justice, homelessness, learning disability and mental health support and services to people across Scotland.
Guildry House
Our Guildry House service provides temporary accommodation and support packages for people who are or may be at risk of becoming homeless.
We place primary focus on the well-being, development and aspirations of the people with whom we work; enabling residents to look at all aspects of their lives including health, training, work, life skills, substance use, relationships, personal resources and support networks.
Our aim is to support people to establish their own home in their community.
To be the successful candidate you will be able to meet the essential criteria listed in the Person Specification. Where you believe that you meet the desirable criteria listed you should try to demonstrate that on your Application Form.
In general terms you will recognise that people's needs differ, so you'll be comfortable tailoring your approach to a broad range of individuals, and you will know that a consistently excellent standard of care is key to providing the best support possible. Primarily you'll see our service users as ordinary people and be motivated by the desire to help them fulfil their full potential.
