Studio 8 is a single community based single access drug and alcohol service for people who are 16 years and over seeking support in tackling their substance misuse within the Moray area.
Studio 8 provides assessment, support and onward referral as part of the Moray Alcohol and Drug Partnerships pathway to recovery.
Studio 8 is committed to providing direct access to information, support and guidance in a safe, relaxed and confidential environment for those who are affected by drugs and alcohol issues.
Services available include:
One to one support
Structured one to one sessions addressing issues such as motivation, self esteem, confidence building, harm reduction, relapse
prevention and recovery.
Drop-In
At Studio 8 we appreciate that there are many different paths on the road to recovery. Not everyone wants a caseworker or a key worker whilst seeking support and guidance. With this in mind, our drop-in service provides free confidential advice to those who prefer more flexible support. This service is open at the following times:
Monday 11am – 1pm
Tuesday 2pm – 4pm
Wednesday 12.00 – 1.30pm
Thursday 5pm – 7pm
Friday 1pm – 3pm
Injecting Equipment Provision (IEP)
The IEP service aims to actively promote and support the provision of high quality, comprehensive needle exchange service, providing advice and support on all issues related to injecting drug use.
Opening Hours:
Monday 10am – 6pm
Tuesday 1pm – 7pm
Wednesday 10am – 6pm
Thursday 10am – 7pm
Friday 9am – 5pm
Group Work
The following groups are available at Studio 8:
Peer support, Harm reduction, Motivation to change, Relapse prevention, Alternative therapies.
Custody Referral Scheme
This is available to individuals that find themselves in custody due to a substance misuse related issue.

The service takes referrals from a variety of sources including self referral, GP’s, Social Work etc.
