Turning Point Scotland has appointed a new chair of its Board of Directors, Elizabeth Gray.

Elizabeth has almost 30 years experience in the higher education sector and heads up the Strategic Marketing Team within the University of Glasgow’s Recruitment and International Office and is currently Acting Director of the Service.

Formerly the vice-chair of Turning Point Scotland, Elizabeth replaces Tony Cameron C.B who has reached the end of his term.

Tony said:

“It has been a privilege but even more so a real pleasure to serve the charity in this role.

I have been humbled to witness the depth of their commitment and dedication to improving the lives of the people we support.”

Turning Point Scotland Chief Executive Martin Cawley said:

“I would like to thank Tony for his leadership as Chair of Turning Point Scotland.

During his time in charge, the organisation has continued to grow and develop, despite the challenging economic climate.

Like all of the members of Turning Point Scotland’s Board, Tony has not only shown leadership, but a real passion and enthusiasm to get out and visit the services, meet the people we support and thank staff members for their hard work.”

Turning Point Scotland’s annual report for 2012-2013 has been approved at the AGM and will be published in electronic format and in print and sent to all stakeholders and partners.
