Getting Support | Services in Glasgow

Glasgow Mental Health & Huntington's Service

Turning Point Scotland's Glasgow Mental Health and Huntington's service provides support to individuals living with complex and enduring mental health problems, and individuals who suffer from symptomatic Huntington's disease to have as fulfilling a life as possible. We are committed to ensuring that people who use our service are treated with dignity and respect.

Our aim is to offer a trauma informed package of support by supporting people to build productive & fulfilling lives and a support network of positive relationships, to have confidence in their own abilities & build on their self-esteem and recognise the valued role in society.  We aim to reduce stigma & isolation and offer crisis intervention where required. We want individuals we support to have a true sense of belonging, a positive identity with recognition in their local communities.

Housing Support, personal care, and care at home packages as well as involvement in a range of education, employability & social activities through self-directed support & personalised budgets are offered, based on the specific needs of the individual. This can range from a few hours per week to support accessible 24 hours, 7 days per week. We work in partnership with Glasgow Health & Social Care Partnership & Scottish Huntington’s association with clear communication & information sharing processes to provide the highest standard of care.
