Turning Point Scotland achieves Scottish Government backed Cyber Security Certification

Turning Point Scotland is proud to share the recent achievement of the Scottish Government-backed Cyber Security Certification, 'Cyber Essentials'.

Cyber Essentials is a government-backed scheme which helps organisations protect themselves from potential cyber-attacks. It enables an organisation to have a clear picture of the level of  cyber security and ensure it is certified to Scottish Government standards.

To achieve this certification Turning Point Scotland has undertaken a verified self-assessment which covers all IT systems within the organisation and protects them from the most common cyber-attacks. This process was carried out by our ICT Department, along with Service Administrators for over a year.

ICT Manager for Turning Point Scotland, Michelle Ronald said, "Achieving this certification was not just about getting the certificate, but also, recognition that our staff and business processes operate in a secure environment. It is important in this new digital world that we continue to build on these data and security measures. We are confident that we will continue to improve on security for our staff and the people we support."

Thank you to all involved in helping us achieve this certification.
