Career progression at Turning Point Scotland

Louise Cockburn works for Turning Point Scotland Inverclyde as the Relief Admin Assistant and she has worked long and hard to gain her NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Business and Administration Knowledge qualification.

Louise studied the principles of personal responsibilities, providing admin services, managing information, supporting change, maintaining stock and budgets in a business environment.

She started out as a Volunteer Admin Worker within the Inverclyde office in early 2014 after speaking with her support workers about wishing to expand her admin skills which she had gained at the local college.

After working for some months in the office her admin skills were recognised and she was successful at interview to gain the post of Relief Admin Assistant on 20th October 2014.

Louise feels this post has given her added confidence and offered her further experiences and skills in administration. Thanks to Jillian and Kat for supporting and guiding Louise through this qualification.
