Turning Point Scotland is committed to employing people with lived experience

People with lived and living experience of homelessness, alcohol and other drug use, the justice system, mental ill health and learning disabilities have an enormous contribution to make to services offered by Turning Point Scotland.

They do so whether they wish to share their lived experience or not. Turning Point Scotland recognise the importance of supporting people who have lived experience to gain employment within Turning Point Scotland and use their experience to help people who use our services. We continue to develop our understanding and the support needed by these staff.

Turning Point Scotland is committed to employing people with lived experience in all roles within the organisation. It is important to stress the value of all roles within the organisation and all are open to those with lived experience.
